About

Hina, ikebana artist

Based between Tokyo & Paris

Having completed the instructor course (准教授) at the Ohara Ikebana School, Hina creates works that are both meaningful and personal, expressions of her love for flowers, art, and quiet moments of connection with herself and the nature around her.

For her, ikebana is deeply woven into everyday life. Through flowers, she enjoys shaping and personalising spaces as a form of self-expression, while also sharing small gestures of love and gratitude with those around her. Ikebana invites us to appreciate living nature and to find beauty in imperfection, impermanence, and simplicity: a philosophy known in Japanese as wabi-sabi (侘び寂び).

She hopes to make this long-standing Japanese art form feel more accessible, and to invite others to discover the beauty of imperfection, balance, and mindfulness through ikebana :)
